About Us/ Minister Section

Muckhart Church is a rural church, in a community of around 450 folk. Muckhart has a pub (http://www.theinnatmuckhart.com/), a village hall

Church on a Sunday morning is informal, with a healthy Sunday School, and we all chat, pray and sing together.

Muckhart Church aspires to the vision of the Church of Scotland, “to be a church which seeks to inspire the people of Scotland and beyond, with the Good News of Jesus Christ through enthusiastic worshipping, witnessing, nurturing and serving communities.”

We currently serve around 75 members, around 35 regularly worshipping, 6-10 in Sunday School. We have Communion the first Sunday of EVERY month.

Refreshments served after the service every week.

We often worship at Muckhart Church with a visiting Praise Band, where we will include songs with a  more contemporary style of music.  To find out when the next Praise Band service is please email us.

In a beautiful setting, sitting elevated from the village.  To its northside is 'Seamab", one of the hills in the Ochil range.  The parish boundary is some what unusual, extending to the outer edge of Dollar, some three miles west and follows the River Devon.
